The Statistics and Prospective Unit (NEP), established by decision of the Executive Council of 11 October 2007, falls under the scope of the Institutional Studies, Planning and Quality Area (AEPQ) and is generally aimed to contibute to create and maintain structures of collection, processing, maintenance and provision of information in order to allow AEPQ and IST to achieve their objectives.
In fullfiling its mission, it seeks to systematize information on IST, to include it in studies, opinions and innovative projects in IST’s most varies strands of action and to integrate it in monitoring, evaluation and planning of the activities carried out by IST.
